StellarTalks November 2023 was hosted on 20th November with Ms. Sanaa Al Ghemlas, Chief Executive Officer of Omniya Plastic Collection Co. Ms. Sanaa shared her valued expertise in a panel discussion with high students on ‘Working Together for a Sustainable Future’.
‘We are pleased to present this platform to students at our Schools as a medium for developing the skill of communication. I take this opportunity to share my best wishes to all our participants who have come forward to make an impression in the minds and lives of each one of us,’ stated Mr. K.O. Mathew, Director of Canadian Bilingual School.
The event was attended by several dignitaries of the community, namely Ms. Asmaa Al Dubais, CEO of AAM Holding, Mr. Fahad Ramdan, Head of Jareeda News, Principals and Vice Principals of Creative Children’s International School, Aspire Bilingual School, Aspire Indian International School, Pakistan English School. Amongst the invitees were Senior School students of Danah Universal School, Resala Bilingual School, Harvard American Bilingual School, Pakistan English School, Aspire Indian International School and Creative Children International School.
StellarTalks gave an opportunity to participating students to present their thoughts at the program with invited guest Ms. Sanaa Al Ghemlas. She gave students insights with regards to her efforts in leading sustainable practices and increasing recycling awareness amongst the community. Canadian Bilingual School’s student panel steered the discussion, debating on three main components of sustainability – recycling, using solar energy and energy from Kuwait’s oil and gas resources.
