The Canadian Bilingual School is evaluated and accredited by the Middle States Commission (MSA-CESS). The Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools is a non-governmental, non-profit, peer- administered organization, committed to ensuring that students in accredited schools are receiving the highest quality education. The Canadian Bilingual School works very closely with MSA to ensure we are meeting all the MSA standards for accreditation through the ‘Excellence by Design’ protocol. This protocol ensures our school provides a rigorous plan for growth and improvement in student performance and the school’s capacity to produce the levels of student performance expected by the school and its community of stakeholders. Effective April 2022, CBS successfully met all the MSA Standards for accreditation and were highly praised for having a supportive and inclusive community. CBS has been re-accredited for the following seven years.

Our continuous plan for meeting the MSA accreditation goals and our own school improvement plan includes: 1) Improving English Reading Skills, 2) Developing Character Learning Skills, and 3) Promoting Healthy Living. All three objectives are aimed at positively influencing student performance in line with the school’s mission, beliefs, and profile of graduates.
