Parent involvement is such an important factor in student success in a school. We become a team - parent/ teacher/ student - all with the same goal of providing the best educational experience for your child.
The school newsletter will be sent home on a periodic basis which will also be available on the website under the section About Us.
Students from Grade 1 upward will receive a Communication Book to be completed daily. This will assist, as well, in close communication between school and home.
Canadian Bilingual School has scheduled Interview Days around report card dates, Parents Nights and Information Nights. Ready access to your child will be provided during school hours by telephone. We especially encourage communication from home, when something has occurred, health or family wise, that would affect your child's day.
It would be appreciated if you would read and discuss with your child, the
student behaviour guidelines
as listed under "Student".
All our texts will be coded and individually assigned to each student. Students will be responsible for for their care. Lost texts will need to be replaced by the parent and can be purchased through the store as well.
A basic supply list follows that we request parents purchase, for their child, ahead of time. Notebooks will be provided by the school.
Preschool, KG1 and KG2:
- 3 HB Pencils (thick)
